Gestión de almacén y su incidencia en la rentabilidad de la empresa Inversiones Meza e Hijos SAC de Trujillo – periodo 2016

Abstract

RESUMEN La presente investigación nace por la necesidad de conocer y medir el nivel de gestión del almacén de Inversiones Meza e Hijos SAC y la influencia que ésta tiene en la rentabilidad de la empresa, ya que por ser una comercializadora de abarrotes, el almacén puede llegar a constituir el 90% del capital invertido en la empresa. Por consiguiente, la gestión de almacén se convierte en el centro de la administración, y si ésta no cuenta con herramientas adecuadas de gestión, podría ocasionar pérdidas que perjudicarían sustancialmente la economía de la organización. Por tanto, la finalidad de la gestión de almacenes es garantizar el suministro permanente y adecuado de la mercadería o productos requeridos por los clientes en forma ágil y eficiente. El objetivo fundamental de esta investigación es medir la influencia de la gestión de almacén y su incidencia en la rentabilidad de la empresa Inversiones Meza e Hijos SAC, para tal efecto, se describe cada una de las variables y se procede a relacionarlas estableciendo la correspondencia entre ella. Entonces, para el logro de este objetivo se ha realizado una investigación no experimental de tipo descriptivo transversal tomando como referencia la información resultante de la aplicación de cuestionarios a los responsables del almacén, la observación de los procesos que se realizan diariamente y el análisis de los datos económicos que muestran el Estado de Situación Financiera y el Estado de Resultados de la empresa correspondiente a los años 2014, 2015 y 2016. El resultado fundamental que muestra el presente estudio es que se ha podido establecer que la variable independiente gestión de almacén incide directamente en la rentabilidad de la empresa Inversiones Meza e Hijos SAC, resultado que se encuentra respaldado por la ejecución de un análisis horizontal y vertical a los estados financieros de la empresa; también la aplicación de ratios; donde se evidencia la relevancia de los inventarios en la estructura de los activos. Therefore, for the achievement of this objective has been conducted a non-experimental investigation of descriptive transversal type taking as reference the information resulting from the application of questionnaires to the managers of the warehouse, the observation of the Processes that are carried out daily and the analysis of the economic data that show the state of financial situation and the State of results of the company corresponding to the years 2014, 2015 and 2016.
