Implementación de herramientas lean para el mejoramiento de la efectividad global del equipo de perforación SKS12 reedrill de la mina Lagunas Norte, de la minera Barick Misquichilca S.A

Abstract

RESUMEN El sistema de gestión lean es actualmente la clave de la eficiencia que conduce al éxito a muchas empresas. Sin embargo, también muchas empresas fracasan en su implantación, por lo que este trabajo se propone demostrar que la adecuada implementación de herramientas lean contribuye al mejoramiento de la efectividad del equipo de perforación SKS12 Reedrill de la mina Lagunas Norte, de la Minera Barrick Misquichilca S.A. Las herramientas utilizadas fueron 5S’, trabajo estandarizado, equipo de alto rendimiento, herramientas de resolución de problemas, manejo de inventario. Los resultados obtenido después de aplicar herramientas Lean, demuestran que el exceso de metros perforados ha disminuido de 3,994.39 m. a 1028.35 m. en la perforadora SKS-12 #01; de 3,841.16 m. a 831.72 m. en la perforadora SKS-12 #02; de 3,011.57 m. a 278.94 m. en la perforadora SKS-12 #03 y de 2336.9 m a 292.34 m en la perforadora SKS-12 #04. La implementación las herramientas Lean generaría en los siguientes 12 meses, una disminución del costo total acumulado por exceso de metros perforados a un promedio de $ 123,998.85 y en los próximos 5 años, a un promedio de $619,994.25; si los comparamos con los valores anteriores a la implementación cuyo costo total acumulado por exceso de metros perforados en promedios fueron $ 448,256.75 a 12 meses; y en los siguientes 5 años a un promedio de $ 2´241.283.76. La evaluación de la factibilidad económica revela que a 5 años el VAN ($595,059.61) y TIR (47.36%) sería rentable para la empresa la implementación de herramientas lean, para mejorar la operatividad de los signos vitales y como consecuencia reducir los costos generados por exceso de metros perforados. Finalmente se debe resaltar la importancia que tiene para la industria la implementación de herramientas de mejora continua.
