El deficiente manejo de los lixiviados generados en el sitio de disposición final de residuos
sólidos de El Carrasco de Bucaramanga (Colombia) despertó, desde hace algunos años,
preocupación por parte de las autoridades ambientales, debido al riesgo de contaminación
de los recursos suelo y agua.(Niño Carvajal, Ramón Valencia, & Ramón Valencia, 2016).
La contaminación de los lixiviados originados en el relleno sanitario municipal (RSM) de la
ciudad de Linares, Nuevo León, en el NE de México. Se han identificado altas
concentraciones de NO3, Pb, Mn y Fe en el agua subterránea y en escurrimientos
superficiales que generan una importante contaminación del suelo y del agua, aspecto muy
relevante si las personas de la región consumen agua contaminada procedente de pozos
que puede ocasionar efectos nocivos en su salud. (Universidad Nacional Autónoma de
México. Instituto de Geología. et al., 1994).
La presente investigación trata sobre la contaminación del agua de manantiales por los
lixiviados originados en un relleno sanitario, la cual a través del análisis y la interpretación
de datos obtenidos de artículos científicos que se obtuvieron mediante las páginas de
Scielo, redalyc, Google académico. Se determinará el grado de contaminación que los
lixiviados generan en el agua superficial teniendo en cuenta los parámetros físico –
químicos. Las modificaciones en parámetros tales tempera-tura, oxígeno disuelto, pH,
conductividad eléctrica, DBO 5 , DQO, SDT, SST y STV, metales pesados, Cr +6 , CNtotal, N-NH3, N- O2, N-NO3, Ntotal, Ptotal, son indicadoras de la calidad del agua y mediante los resultados obtenidos se realizara minuciosamente una discusión donde se
darán a conocer los principales cambios de estos parámetros (Físico-Químicos) que
posteriormente serán la base para llegar a las conclusiones de nuestro objeto de estudio.
