Impacto económico e inestabilidad empresarial en tiempo de coronavirus: una revisión de la literatura científica en los últimos diez años

El presente artículo abarca sobre la actual crisis económica de las empresas por la
pandemia del Coronavirus, que inició en el país asiático (China) y propagándose
progresivamente a nivel mundial.
El objetivo de este artículo es identificar el impacto económico e inestabilidad
empresarial en tiempo de coronavirus en un periodo de diez años. Para la realización de la
revisión sistemática de la literatura se hizo uso como base de datos a Ebesco y Proquest y los
criterios de elegibilidad de los artículos fueron mediante su ecuación booleana que contenían
las palabras: impacto económico, crisis económica, inestabilidad empresarial, pandemia,
coronavirus. Cabe señalar, que además se usó el buscador especializado en investigaciones
científicas Dialnet y la base de datos de Google Scholar porque contaba con el tema
abarcado.
En la metodología utilizada se desarrollaron cuatro procesos: tipo de estudio, selección,
clasificación y extracción, y revisión. Cada artículo fue filtrado por un análisis crítico en base
a los pasos recomendados por Carbajal (2004), de acuerdo al año, tipo de recurso, idioma y
su no duplicidad, dando un total de 25 artículos para analizar.
Para concluir, cumpliendo con el desarrollo de una estructura de investigación y
aplicando la metodología escogida, en esta revisión de la literatura se logró dar respuesta a la
interrogante de la investigación, la cual se demuestra mediante los 25 artículos analizados en
el periodo de tiempo especificado, que los impactos económicos más relevantes son la caída
de los precios de los productos primarios y la reducción o interrupción de producción por falta de componentes esenciales, generando una inestabilidad en las empresas por la
pandemia del Coronavirus.
Dentro de las limitaciones se ha observado que sólo el empleo del idioma español sesga
a no encontrar un número significativo de estudios, por la tanto, es mínima la probabilidad de
cumplir con la hipótesis planteada.
