Implementación de la 5S para mejorar la gestión del almacén de una institución policial, La Libertad 2020

Abstract

El objetivo de la presente investigación fue determinar cómo la implementación de las 5S mejora la gestión del Almacén de una Institución Policial, La Libertad, 2020. El enfoque fue cuantitativo del tipo pre-experimental. La población y la muestra están conformadas por los despachos diarios en el área de almacén, que fue evaluada en 30 días laborales. Las técnicas de recolección fueron: la Observación, cuadros de anotaciones de pedidos, base de datos de la institución y check list para medir el nivel 5S antes de la implementación en el almacén. Los resultados en indicadores de eficiencia fueron: clasificación y orden 0.81 y 0.98; en limpieza 0.52 y 0.91; estandarización y disciplina 20% y 80%; valores correspondientes al antes y después de implementar las 5S, respectivamente. Se concluyó que la aplicación de las 5s mejora la gestión del Almacén de una Institución Policial, La Libertad en un 15.5% con respecto a la eficiencia que antes se tenía un índice de 0.81 y actualmente el índice es de 0.94. La eficacia antes era de un 0.88 y que actualmente representa un 0.98, esta variación se produce gracias a la correcta implementación de las 5s, por lo que se evidenció que la eficacia mejoró un 11.64%. Se recomienda la implementación de las 5s en el área de almacén de las diferentes empresas con la finalidad de evaluar y reafirmar la influencia importante de dicha variable.

The objective of this research was to determine how the implementation of the 5S improves the management of the Warehouse of a Police Institution, La Libertad, 2020. The approach was quantitative of the pre-experimental type. The population and the sample are made up of the daily dispatches in the warehouse area, which was evaluated in 30 business days. The collection techniques were: Observation, order annotation tables, institution database and check list to measure the 5S level before implementation in the warehouse. The results in efficiency indicators were: classification and order 0.81 and 0.98; in cleaning 0.52 and 0.91; standardization and discipline 20% and 80%; values corresponding to before and after implementing the 5S, respectively. It was concluded that the application of the 5s improves the management of the Warehouse of a Police Institution, La Libertad by 15.5% with respect to the efficiency that previously had an index of 0.81 and currently the index is 0.94. The efficiency before was 0.88 and currently represents 0.98, this variation occurs thanks to the correct implementation of the 5s, so it was evidenced that the efficiency improved by 11.64%. The implementation of the 5s is recommended in the warehouse area of the different companies in order to evaluate and reaffirm the important influence of said variable.
