Impacto económico del Tratado de Libre Comercio entre Perú - Unión Europea en el sector exportador agroindustrial de la región La Libertad 2012 - 2014

Abstract

RESUMEN La presente investigación tiene como objetivo determinar el impacto económico del Tratado de Libre Comercio entre Perú y la Unión Europea que se implementó en marzo del 2013 en el sector exportador agroindustrial de la Región La Libertad.

La idea de la investigación surgió debido a la falta de estudios que abordan el análisis de la producción en el ámbito agroindustrial en Perú y la Unión Europea, además del gran número de empresas dedicadas a la exportación agroindustrial en la región de La Libertad, que es una de las principales regiones en todo el Perú.

Perú es ahora considerado un gran proveedor de productos agroindustriales debido a su clima y suelos, lo que nos permite ofrecer una gran variedad de productos y satisfacer la demanda del mercado en su totalidad, completando la oferta de países extranjeros.

El estudio analiza dos variables principales que son en primer lugar el Tratado de Libre Comercio en su conjunto y, por otro lado, el impacto económico que este Acuerdo conlleva. El resultado principal es la evaluación conjunta de las variables determinado por la influencia que se tienen.

Se desarrolla toda la investigación en torno al impacto económico, identificando si este es positivo o negativo, tomando como herramienta de medición los productos banderas de la Agroindustria Liberteña, identificando si existe una evolución de los productos exportados antes de la firma y después de ésta. Además fortaleciendo la investigación con los diferentes puntos de vista, tanto de importadores, exportadores y expertos en el comercio.

Finalmente, en este estudio se logra de manera concluyente determinar cuál ha sido el impacto económico que existe tras la implementación de uno de los más importantes Tratados Comerciales que el Perú ha firmado. Logrando así dar recomendaciones veraces tanto para exportadores, importadores, conocedores y estudiantes en general para que puedan lograr una mejora en su ámbito conociendo cual es el beneficio de este TLC.

ABSTRACT The following investigation aims to determine the economic impact of the Free Trade Agreement between Peru and the European Union that was implemented in March 2013 in the agro-export sector of La Libertad region.

The research idea emerged due to the lack of studies that address the analysis of production in the agribusiness area in Peru and the European Union, and the large number of companies engaged in the agribusiness exports in the region of La Libertad, which is one of the main productive regions throughout Peru.

Peru is now considered a major supplier of agro-industrial products because of its climate and soil, allowing us to offer a wide variety of products and meet the demand of the market as a whole, completing the supply of foreign countries.

The study analyzes two main variables, first the Free Trade Agreement as a whole and, on the other hand, the economic impact that this agreement entails. The main result is the joint assessment of variables determined by the influence the FTA has.

All the research revolves around the economic impact, identifying whether this is positive or negative, being the measurement tools the main La Libertad Agribusiness products, identifying if there is an evolution of the exported products before and after the signing of the FTA. Also, strengthening research with different perspectives, both for importers and exporters and even trade experts.

Finally, this study is conclusively achieves to determine the economic impact that has the implementation of one of the most important trade agreements that Peru has signed. Thus achieving accurate recommendations to both exporters, importers, connoisseurs and students in general so that they can achieve an improvement in its scope knowledge of the benefits of this FTA.
