Propuesta de mejora en el proceso de armado de motores de combustión interna cummins para disminuir las horas de tiempo muerto

Abstract

RESUMEN La tesis “PROPUESTA DE MEJORA EN EL PROCESO DE ARMADO DE MOTORES DE COMBUSTIÓN INTERNA CUMMINS PARA DISMINUIR LAS HORAS DE TIEMPO MUERTO”, se aplicaría en el área del MRC (Master Rebuild Center), en el proceso de armado de motores, con la finalidad de tener un mejor control y planificación adecuada en nuestras reparaciones con nuestra asistencia técnica especializada ,garantizando el armado de los motores y reduciendo tiempos , como también el armado de calidad. Ante las exigencias de nuestros clientes de tener sus motores en tiempos especificados por ellos y por consecuencia la demora significa una multa a la empresa (Distribuidora Cummins Perú), se implementa esta mejora. Es muy conveniente esta mejora porque nos traería beneficios para nuestros clientes así como también para la empresa. La empresa en la actualidad busca tener mayor rentabilidad y por ello busca la mejora continua con la aplicación de metodologías y procesos diferentes con la misma cantidad de técnicos. Con esta mejora conjuntamente con la entrega de los repuestos y que acrecienta la demora en el armado, así mismo para poder tener un stock en el almacén de acuerdo a la demanda de la reparación de los motores con un previo estudio y seguimiento de los motores a repararse por horas de trabajo. También actualmente se tiene personal calificado, pero hay deficiencia en algunos técnicos que aún no pasan por un proceso de calificación de toda la variedad de motores. Por consecuencia por todos estos puntos mencionados es necesario implementar esta mejora en el sistema de reparación de motores. La implementación de la mejora evitaría las fallas de los motores y pérdidas de tiempos por las de moras en la entrega de repuestos así como también capacitar al personal para no tener deficiencias en el armado ya que esto provoca fallas críticas en los motores y perdidas económicas considerables para la empresa y un mal estar a nuestros clientes por la demora de la entrega de sus motores en fechas de entrega.

ABSTRACT The thesis "PROPOSAL FOR IMPROVEMENT IN THE PROCESS OF ASSEMBLY OF INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINES CUMMINS TO DECREASE THE HOURS OF DEAD TIME", would apply in the area of the MRC (Master Rebuild Center), in the process of assembling engines, in order to have better control and proper planning in our repairs with our specialized technical assistance, ensuring the assembly of engines and reducing times, as well as the armed quality. To the demands of our customers to have their engines at times specified by them and therefore the delay means a fine on the company (Distribuidora Cummins Peru), this improvement is implemented. This improvement is very convenient because we would bring benefits to our customers as well as for the company. The company now seeks to have higher profitability and therefore seeks continuous improvement with the application of different methodologies and processes with the same number of technicians. With this improvement in conjunction with the delivery of spare parts and increases the delay in the assembly, also to have a stock in the store according to the demand of repairing engines with a previous study and monitoring engines repaired for hours. currently also it has qualified staff, but there are some technical deficiency that has not yet go through a qualification process all variety of engines. Consequently all these mentioned points is necessary to implement this improvement in engine repair system. The implementation of the improvement would avoid engine failures and loss of time by Defaulters delivery of spare parts as well as train staff to avoid deficiencies in the armed as this causes critical failures in engines and economic losses considerable for the company and our customers be bad for the delay of delivery of its engines on delivery dates.
