Influencia de nuevos procesos de lixiviación en la recuperación de Au en material fino extraído del tajo Cerro Negro – Minera Yanacocha SRL - 2017

Abstract

RESUMEN Minera Yanacocha S.R.L, es una empresa dedicada a la extracción de oro y se ubica en la Provincia y Departamento de Cajamarca, aproximadamente a 34 kilómetros (km) al norte de la ciudad de Cajamarca. El objetivo principal de esta investigación es evaluar la factibilidad para procesar este mineral fino en un Pad Dinámico, para el cual se ha construido una celda de prueba en el Pad de la Quinua, donde se ha descargado 36,000 toneladas de mineral fino ( 40% -200m) conteniendo 568 onzas de oro. El área de la celda fue de 2,353 m2 y la altura del lift de 8 metros. El tiempo de lixiviación fue de 50 días, durante el cual se monitoreó el flujo de Barren, y se analizó la descarga de la solución pregnant (PLS) El mineral fue acondicionado con cal de Chinalinda a un ratio de 3.0 kg/t. El pH de la solución en la descarga de la celda, inició con un valor de 2.5, el cual fue incrementando hasta terminar la prueba con un valor de 7.8. Al término de la prueba, el ratio Solución/Ore (S/O) alcanzado fue de 0.411, las extracciones de oro y plata fueron de 46.6% y 6.2% respectivamente. De las perforaciones realizadas antes y después de la lixiviación se ha estimado una extracción de oro de 54%. PALABRAS CLAVES: pad dinámico, barren, ratio, lixiviación.
