Propuesta de mejora en la cadena de suministro para optimizar los procesos en el área de planificación de una planta de pinturas

Abstract

RESUMEN La presente tesis tiene como objetivo mejorar los procesos en el área de planificación de la empresa Qroma, líder en el rubro de fabricación y comercialización de pintura para decoración y recubrimiento de interiores y exteriores. Con presencia a nivel nacional y en Latinoamérica. Para ello se evaluaron los factores que afectan la cadena de suministro en el área de planificación. Debido al incremento de SKU (Stock keeping Unit) y la variedad de productos que son ofrecidos a un mercado tan amplio como automotriz, arquitectónico, marino, industrial, madera y teniendo en cuenta que la previsión de la demanda es un factor importante en la gestión de inventarios y para tener un adecuado nivel de servicio y un stock adecuado. Se realizó en el presente trabajo una clasificación del surtido identificando los productos como make to stock (MTS), make to orden (MTO) y estratégicos, Se segmentaron los productos por categoría y se clasifico los productos de acuerdo a la matriz de rentabilidad como AA, A, B, C. Además; permitió establecer objetivos de nivel de servicio a cada cuadrante, permitiendo priorizar las decisiones en los procesos y actividades de la cadena y así mejorar la gestión de inventario y reducir los quiebres de stock y por último se estandarizó los procesos para mejorar el lead time de producción. ABSTRACT The objective of the present test is to improve the processes in the planning area of the company Qroma, leader in the manufacturing and commercialization of decoration and coating of interior and exterior painting. With presence at a national level and in Latin America. For this, the factors that affect the supply chain in the planning area were evaluated. Due to the increase of SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) and the variety of products offered in such a wide market as automotive, architectural, marine, industrial, wood and taking into account that the forecast of demand is an important factor in the management of inventories and to have an adequate level of service and an adequate stock. The present work was carried out a classification of the assortment identifying the products as make to stock (MTS), make to order (MTO) and strategic products, were segmented by category and classified the products according to the profitability matrix as AA, A, B, C. In addition, establish service level objectives for each quadrant, allowing to prioritize the decisions in the processes and activities of the chain and thus improve the inventory management and reduce the stock breaks and finally the processes were standardized to improve production time.
