Propuesta de análisis técnico comparativo entre la ampliación de una chimenea y un ventilador axial en un sub nivel de una mina subterránea, Cajamarca

Abstract

RESUMEN La presente tesis lleva por título, “Propuesta de análisis técnico comparativo entre la ampliación de una chimenea y un ventilador axial en un sub nivel de una mina subterránea, Cajamarca”; se realizó con la finalidad de tener un mejor sistema de ventilación en el sub nivel 076 y se tiene como objetivo general realizar el análisis comparativo entre la ampliación de la chimenea y el uso de un ventilador axial. Con el incremento de la producción y la profundidad de la labor subterránea, incrementa también las dificultades de ventilación en la mina subterránea.

El tipo de investigación es no experimental, transversal, descriptivo. En la actualidad el sub nivel 076 necesita de una mejor ventilación, para garantizar un control óptimo de las condiciones en la mina, se hace un seguimiento a través de aforos de los caudales; y de un monitoreo continuo de la atmósfera minera para conocer las concentraciones de gases con el fin de controlar todos aquellos elementos que pongan en peligro la vida de quienes laboran en la mina. Esta investigación permitió el análisis de costos, la ampliación de la chimenea que es de 39 921 soles; la compra de un ventilador, costo de la manga de ventilación, el costo de electricidad y el mantenimiento al año suma la cantidad de 84 330.30 soles.

Se concluyó que al hacer un análisis los dos sistemas de ventilación satisfacen las necesidades de caudal de aire para los trabajadores. En cuanto a la ventilación más adecuada para el sub nivel 076 es la ventilación natural ya que el costo es mucho menor a comparación de la ventilación mecánica. La construcción de la chimenea debe ser con el sistema PEM. PALABRAS CLAVE: Ventilación, chimenea, ventilador axial, caudal.

ABSTRACT This thesis is entitled, "Proposal of comparative technical analysis between the expansion of a chimney and an axial fan in a sub-level, of an underground mine, Cajamarca"; It was carried out in order to have a better ventilation system in sub level 076 and the general objective is to carry out the comparative analysis between the extension of the chimney and the use of an axial fan. With the increase of the production and the depth of the underground work, it also increases the difficulties of ventilation in the underground mine.

The type of research is non-experimental, transversal, and descriptive. At present the sub level 076 needs better ventilation, to guarantee an optimal control of the conditions in the mine, a follow-up is made through the gauging of the flows; and continuous monitoring of the mining atmosphere to know the concentrations of gases in order to control all those elements that endanger the lives of those who work in the mine. This investigation allowed the analysis of costs, the extension of the chimney that is of 39 921 suns; the purchase of a fan, the cost of the ventilation hose, the cost of electricity and maintenance per year add the amount of 84 330.30 suns.

It was concluded that when doing an analysis, the two ventilation systems meet the needs of airflow for workers. As for the most suitable ventilation for sub-level 076 is natural ventilation since the cost is much lower compared to mechanical ventilation.
