dc.description.abstractRESUMEN El control de la calidad de las Mezclas Asfálticas Calientes (MAC) es un procedimiento orientado a asegurar que el producto que conformará la carpeta de rodadura (asfalto en caso de pavimentación flexible), cumpla con las especificaciones técnicas que garanticen desde una perspectiva técnica, las prestaciones a las que estará sujeta cuando se entregue la obra y empiece a funcionar la carretera pavimentada. Para efectos de controlar la calidad de la producción de asfalto para el proyecto de integración vial Tacna-La Paz; tramo Tacna–Collpa; sub tramo III: Km. 146+180 – km. 187+404, en el desarrollo de la tesis consideramos dos variables, Calidad en la producción en planta (Variable Dependiente) y Control en laboratorio y campo de la mezcla asfáltica en caliente para el proyecto integración vial Tacna – La Paz; tramo Tacna – Collpa: Sub Tramo III: KM 146+180 – km 187+404 (Variable Independiente). Para el caso de la variable dependiente, en el estudio se determinó y analizó la producción de asfalto en los dos tipos de plantas, plantas Terex y Barber Greene, que producen Mezcla Asfáltica en Caliente (MAC) para la pavimentación del tramo Tacna–Collpa de la carretera Tacna-La Paz. Por otro lado, para el caso de la variable independiente, en el estudio se realizó el control tanto de la del asfalto producido como del asfalto aplicado. Para el control de la calidad de la mezcla asfáltica en caliente (MAC) producido se realizaron los siguientes procedimientos: análisis granulométrico en faja, lavado asfaltico de la mezcla, ensayo Marshall, ensayo Rice, ensayo Lottman y ensayo de adherencia. Por su parte, para el control de la calidad del producto aplicado, este se realizó en dos momentos, un primer momento referido al control al momento de aplicar producto, en el cual principalmente se controló las temperaturas de salida de planta de la mezcla asfáltica; y, otro momento referido al control realizado 24 horas después de aplicado el producto, para lo cual se realizaron las siguientes pruebas: prueba mediante viga Benkelman en carpeta asfáltica, prueba de lisura en carpeta asfáltica y el ensayo para determinar el Índice de Rugosidad Internacional (IRI). La hipótesis de investigación formulada se enuncia como: El adecuado control en laboratorio y campo del MAC aumenta la calidad en la producción de asfalto en planta para el Proyectode Integración Vial Tacna-La Paz; tramo Tacna–Collpa; sub tramo III: Km. 146+180 – km. 187+404. La población estuvo conformada por los tramos lado peruano y boliviano del proyecto de integración vial Tacna-La Paz. De dichos tramos, se determinó como muestra no probabilística e intencionada el sub tramo III: Km. 146+180 – km. 187+404, tramo Tacna–Collpa (lado peruano) del proyecto de integración vial Tacna-La Paz. Metodológicamente, la presente investigación por el método es deductivo, por el tipo es explicativa y de nivel descriptivo, por el diseño es experimental; prospectivo; longitudinal. Para efectos de procesamiento, análisis e interpretación de resultados se tuvo en cuenta las consideraciones presentadas por Torres (2005) quien al respecto señala que dichos procesos se deben realizar teniendo en cuenta el problema objeto de estudio, el marco teórico referencial, los objetivos formulados, y teniendo en cuenta las variables e indicadores resultantes del proceso de operacionalización de las hipótesis. Finalmente, los resultados de la investigación dan cuenta que las plantas de asfalto de la empresa ICCGSA asignadas al proyecto de integración vial Tacna-La Paz; tramo Tacna–Collpa; sub tramo III: Km. 146+180 – km. 187+404, se ajustan a los requerimientos de las especificaciones técnicas y cumplen las normativas de ensayos del Ministerio de Transporte y Comunicaciones. De los ensayos del producto se determinó que ambas plantas vienen operando en condiciones aceptables, por ejemplo, el ensayo de lavado asfaltico de la mezcla para cada una de las muestras MAC-2 a 170ºC y 168ºC para las plantas Barber Greene y Terex, respectivamente, se obtuvo el 6,64% de porcentaje de asfalto presente en el pavimento para el primero y 6,70% para el segundo. Asimismo, con respecto a controlar los parámetros de diseño de la mezcla asfáltica aplicada sobre la superficie, se obtuvo que a 24 horas de haberse aplicado la mezcla bituminosa, la mezcla aplicada cumplía con las especificaciones técnicas; por ejemplo, para el caso de la lisura, de los ensayos realizados se logró determinar que tanto la lisura mínima, como la máxima son iguales y menores a 5 mm, luego, el pavimento cumple con los requerimientos y no tiene irregularidades en su superficie. The quality control of Hot Asphalt Mixtures (MAC) is a procedure aimed at ensuring that the product that will form the roadway (asphalt in case of flexible paving), complies with the technical specifications that guarantee from a technical perspective, the benefits to which it will be subject when the work is delivered and the paved road begins to operate. For the purposes of processing, analysis and interpretation of results, the considerations presented by Torres (2005) were taken into account. In this regard, he points out that these processes must be carried out taking into account the problem under study, the theoretical frame of reference, the objectives formulated, and taking into account the variables and indicators resulting from the process of operationalizing the hypotheses. Finally, the results of the investigation show that the asphalt plants of the ICCGSA company assigned to the Tacna-La Paz road integration project; Tacna-Collpa stretch; sub section III: Km. 146 + 180 - km. 187 + 404, conform to the requirements of the technical specifications and comply with the regulations of the Ministry of Transport and Communications. From the product tests, it was determined that both plants are operating under acceptable conditions, for example, the asphalt washing test of the mixture for each of the MAC-2 samples at 170ºC and 168ºC for the Barber Greene and Terex plants, respectively.
