La gestión del costo para la mejora de la satisfacción de los directivos, el personal técnico y la rentabilidad, bajo el enfoque de la guía PMBOK, en el proyecto de la planta de detonadores no eléctricos Chemtrade, distrito Végueta, provincia Huaura, región Lima, 2017

Abstract

RESUMEN Durante el 2017, en la empresa JOSLOP Contratistas Generales S.A.C., se implementó la gestión de costos en el proyecto “Planta de Detonadores no Eléctricos CHEMTRADE”, bajo el enfoque de la guía PMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge). El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo implementar la gestión del costo, bajo el enfoque de la guía metodológica PMBOK, para la mejora de la satisfacción de los directivos, el personal técnico y la rentabilidad, en el proyecto “Planta de Detonadores no Eléctricos CHEMTRADE, distrito Végueta, provincia Huaura, Región Lima”. La aplicación de la gestión del costo para mejora de la satisfacción del directivo, personal técnico y la rentabilidad se sustenta en: la planificación, el desarrollo (estimación y determinación del presupuesto), y el control de la gestión de costos. La presente tesis está compuesta de siete capítulos. En el capítulo I, se muestra la descripción de la realidad problemática, de la cual se deduce la formulación del problema, para luego plantear las soluciones en los objetivos mencionados anteriormente, cuyo sustento se verá reflejado en la justificación y en las limitaciones de la investigación. En el capítulo II, se presentan los antecedentes que sustentan esta investigación, luego se desarrollan las bases teóricas que se tomaron en cuenta para el desarrollo del proyecto, y finalmente se realiza la definición de términos básicos. En el capítulo III, se formulan las hipótesis, tanto generales como específicas; se realiza la determinación de las variables, tanto independientes como dependientes, y la Operacionalización de las mismas. En el capítulo IV, se presenta el diseño de investigación, que delimitará el sentido de la investigación, para luego determinar la población y muestra, que "LA GESTIÓN DEL COSTO PARA LA MEJORA DE LA SATISFACCIÓN DE LOS DIRECTIVOS, EL PERSONAL TÉCNICO Y LA RENTABILIDAD, BAJO EL ENFOQUE DE LA GUÍA PMBOK, EN EL PROYECTO DE LA PLANTA DE DETONADORES NO ELÉCTRICOS CHEMTRADE, DISTRITO VÉGUETA, PROVINCIA HUAURA, REGIÓN LIMA, 2017" López Chiroque, Renzo Rodrigo Rafael Bazan, George Yoao 15 serán analizadas con diversas técnicas e instrumentos de recolección de datos. En el capítulo V, se presenta el caso de investigación, para luego realizar la aplicación de todos los capítulos mencionados anteriormente con la finalidad de tener como resultados los objetivos planteados con anterioridad. En el capítulo VI, se reflejan los resultados del proyecto, donde se realiza la contrastación de las hipótesis y el análisis e interpretación de dichos resultados. Finalmente, en el último capítulo, se discute la comparación de las hipótesis con las planteadas en los antecedentes; y se exponen las conclusiones y recomendaciones de la investigación. La metodología aplicada en el presente estudio tiene como diseño la investigación experimental (cuasiexperimental), de corte longitudinal; así mismo el tipo de diseño es cuantitativo, analítico y según la pregunta de investigación es muestra censal (directivos y personal técnico de la empresa JOSLOP Contratistas Generales S.A.C.); y por último el nivel de investigación es Correlacional de tipo correlacional-causal. Se aplicó como instrumento de recolección de datos una encuesta de escala de Likert. Se ha logrado aplicar la metodología PMBOK, a lo largo de la etapa de ejecución del proyecto, en la etapa postest y contrastándola con la etapa pretest. Como resultado de la investigación se obtuvo un incremento del 47.73% en la mejora de la satisfacción de los directivos, el personal técnico y la rentabilidad del proyecto, eso quiere decir que paso de 49.68% a un 97.41%; adicionalmente, se logró un incremento en la rentabilidad del proyecto de 10% a 23.51%, lo cual se representa en S/. 410 000.00 de utilidad no prevista por la empresa contratista y que se generó como un producto de la correcta implementación de la gestión costos, bajo el enfoque de la guía PMBOK.

ABSTRACT During 2017, in the company JOSLOP Contratistas Generales S.A.C., cost management was implemented in the project "CHEMTRADE Non-Electric Detonator Plant", under the focus of the PMBOK guide (Project Management Body of Knowledge). The objective of this study was to implement cost management, under the PMBOK methodological guide, to improve the profitability and satisfaction of internal customers, in the project “CHEMTRADE Non-Electric Detonator Plant, Vegueta District, Huaura Province. Lima Region”. The application of cost management, to improve the profitability and satisfaction of internal customers is based on: planning, development (estimation and determination of the budget), and control of cost management. This thesis is composed of seven chapters. In chapter I, the description of the problematic reality is shown, from which the formulation of the problem is deduced, to then propose the solutions in previously mentioned objectives, whose sustenance will be reflected in the justification and limitations of the investigation. In chapter II, the background to this research is presented, then the theoretical bases that were taken into account for the development of the project are developed, and finally the definition of basic terms is made. In chapter III, hypotheses are formulated, both general and specific; the determination of the variables, both independent and dependent, and the operationalization of them is done. In chapter IV, the research design is presented, which will delimit the meaning of the research, to then determine the population and sample, which will be analyzed with various techniques and data collection instruments. In chapter V, the research case is presented, and then the application of all the aforementioned chapters is carried out, with the purpose of having the previously stated objectives as results. Finally, in the last chapter, the comparison of hypotheses with those raised in the antecedents is discussed; and the conclusions and recommendations of the investigation are exposed. The methodology applied in the present study has as a design the experimental research (quasi-experimental), of longitudinal cut; Likewise, the type of design is quantitative, analytical and according to the research question it is a census sample (managers and technical staff of the company JOSLOP Contratistas Generales S.A.C.); and finally, the level of investigation is correlational of correlational-causal type. A Likert scale survey was applied as a data collection instrument. The PMBOK methodology has been applied throughout the project's execution stage, in the post-test stage and compared with the pre-test stage. As a result of the research, an increase of 47.73% was obtained in the satisfaction of the internal clients and the profitability of the project, that means that it went from 49.68% to 97.41%; additionally, an increase in the profitability of the project was achieved from 10% to 23.51%, which is represented in S /. 410 000.00 profit not foreseen by the contractor company and that was generated due to the correct implementation of the cost management, under the PMBOK guideline approach. The research concludes that the implementation of cost management, under the PMBOK approach, in the "CHEMTRADE Non-Electric Detonator Plant" project, has contributed to improving the profitability and satisfaction of the project's internal clients.
