Relación entre los factores estructurales y los conflictos socioambientales en la provincia de Hualgayoc en el año 2017

Abstract

El presente trabajo de investigación plantea como pregunta: ¿Cuál es la relación entre los factores estructurales y los conflictos socioambientales en la provincia de Hualgayoc en el año 2017? En tal sentido, propone como hipótesis: El factor estructural con mayor relación en los conflictos socioambientales en la provincia de Hualgayoc, en el año 2017, es el ambiental seguido del factor económico. La prueba estadística para establecer la relación entre las variables fue la de Pearson. Para ello, se seleccionó una muestra de 80 ciudadanos líderes de las diferentes organizaciones representativas de la provincia de Hualgayoc, seleccionados a partir de un muestreo no probabilístico por conveniencia tipo censal dado que son personas públicas y visibles de fácil acceso para entablar comunicación personal. En el proceso de investigación, se aplicaron dos instrumentos de recojo de información. El primer cuestionario tiene como base a 3 opciones: 3. Siempre, 2: A veces, 1 Nunca. Tal instrumento permitió recoger información respecto a los factores estructurales que se relacionan con el conflicto: social, económico, jurídico-legal y ambiental. El segundo instrumento fue un cuestionario trivalente que permitió recoger datos relacionados con la participación en los conflictos socioambientales en consideración a las dimensiones antes indicadas. A través del Alfa de Cronbach, se estableció la confiabilidad de los referidos instrumentos. El método aplicado fue el hipotético inductivo-deductivo: el primero sirvió para el recojo de información y el segundo para la elaboración del marco teórico. Los resultados muestran relación inversa moderada entre ambas variables, esto quiere decir que los factores se relacionan de manera inversa en los conflictos socioambientales; por lo tanto, cuanta menos participación o información tienen los encuestados respecto a los factores estudiados, más participan en los conflictos socioambientales. Tales resultados contrastan con otras investigaciones que señalan que hay relación entre dichas variables. En consecuencia, se recomienda que otros investigadores realicen investigaciones relacionadas con los factores de los conflictos ambientales y su estrategia para gestionar su resolución.

The present research work poses as a question: What is the relationship between structural factors and socio-environmental conflicts in the province of Hualgayoc in the year 2017? In this sense, proposes as hypothesis: The structural factor with greater relation with the socio-environmental conflicts in the province of Hualgayoc, in the year 2017, is the environmental factor followed by the economic factor. The statistical test to establish the relationship between the variables was that of Pearson. For this purpose, a sample of 80 citizens representing the different representative organizations of Hualgayoc province were, selected from a non-probabilistic sample for census-type convenience since they are public and visible persons of easy access to establish personal communication. In the research process, two instruments were used to collect information. the first questionnaire is based on 3 options: 3. Always, 2: Sometimes, 1 Never. This instrument made it possible to gather information on the factors that affect the conflict: social, economic, legallegal and environmental. The second instrument was a trivalent questionnaire that allowed collecting data related to the participation in the socio-environmental conflicts in consideration of the dimensions indicated above. The reliability of these instruments was established through Cronbach's Alpha. The method applied was the hypothetical inductive-deductive: the first served for the gathering of information and the second for the elaboration of the theoretical framework. The results show a moderate inverse relation between the two variables, that is to say that the factors have an inverse influence on the socio-environmental conflicts, therefore the less participation or information the respondents have with respect to the factors studied, the more they participate in the socio-environmental conflicts. These results contrast with other investigations that indicate that there is a relationship between these variables. Consequently, it is recommended that other researchers conduct research related to the factors of environmental conflicts and their strategy to manage their resolution.
