Aplicación de criterios de regeneración urbana en un sector de intervención de Huanchaco y escuela gastronómica

Abstract

El balneario de Huanchaco se caracteriza por la belleza de sus playas y paisajes, siendo uno de los lugares más visitados por turistas nacionales y extranjeros en el departamento de La Libertad. Así mismo tiene como recursos turísticos a la gastronomía y artesanía, sin dejar de lado a la riqueza histórica y cultural que posee, que convierten a Huanchaco es una atracción turística con mucho potencial.

En este sentido, se entiende que Huanchaco destaca por ser uno de los focos de atracción turística principales de la ciudad de Trujillo; sin embargo, a pesar de la tendencia creciente de visitantes a este balneario, se observa que en los últimos años la actividad turística ha descendido considerablemente, y esto se debe a factores externos como el abandono y deterioro, poca promoción de atractivos turísticos, la erosión costera, entre otros.

Esta investigación busca desarrollar la regeneración urbana del sector “Las Lomas II” y la playa “El Mogote”, para ello se realizó un análisis y diagnóstico urbano, con el fin de identificar los problemas urbanos, sociales y económicos que tiene la zona estudiada.

Así mismo, se estudiaron casos que demuestran como la regenración urbana repercute positivamente en una ciudad, trayendo consigo desarrollo económico y social en la zona intervenida; además de brindar estrategias de regeneración urbana en espacios con problemas similares a los identificados en el presente proyecto.

Cabe resaltar, que este proyecto consideró como un hecho arquitectónico vital al diseño de una escuela gastronómica, que responde a la problemática económico – social que presenta la zona intervenida, y que es parte del proceso de regeneración urbana propuesto en este trabajo.

Así pues, se concluye diciendo que este proyecto de intervención urbana busca potenciar las cualidades del balneario de Huanchaco, y recuperar el potencial turístico que se ha visto afectado por el deterioro y abandono de la zona estudiada, con el fin de generar desarrollo económico y social a favor de los pobladores de Huanchaco, y en general en la ciudad de Trujillo.

The spa of Huanchaco is characterized by the beauty of its beaches and landscapes, being one of the most visited places by national and foreign tourists in the department of La Libertad. It also has as tourism resources the gastronomy and crafts, without neglecting the historical and cultural wealth that it has, which make Huanchaco a tourist attraction with a lot of potential.

In this sense, it is understood that Huanchaco stands out as one of the main tourist attractions in the city of Trujillo; However, despite the growing trend of visitors to this resort, it is observed that in recent years tourism activity has declined considerably, and this is due to external factors such as abandonment and deterioration, little promotion of tourist attractions, erosion coastal, among others.

This research seeks to develop the urban regeneration of the sector "Las Lomas II" and the beach "El Mogote", for this an urban analysis and diagnosis was carried out, in order to identify the urban, social and economic problems that the studied area has.

Likewise, we studied cases that show how urban regeneration has a positive effect on a city, bringing economic and social development in the area under intervention; as well as providing urban regeneration strategies in spaces with problems similar to those identified in this project

It should be noted that this project considered as a vital architectural fact the design of a culinary school, which responds to the economic - social problem presented by the intervened zone, and which is part of the urban regeneration process proposed in this work.

Thus, it is concluded that this project of urban intervention seeks to enhance the qualities of the resort of Huanchaco, and recover the tourism potential that has been affected by the deterioration and abandonment of the area studied, in order to generate economic and social development in favor of the inhabitants of Huanchaco, and in general in the city of Trujillo
