Implementación de la gestión de inventarios basado en la metodología Demand Driven Material Requirements Planning para reducir los costos de almacenamiento en la empresa Postes del Norte S.A. 2018-2019, Trujillo

Abstract

RESUMEN La presente investigación se desarrolla en una empresa de fabricación y comercialización de Postes de Concreto Armado Centrifugado. Dicha investigación tiene como objetivo determinar en qué medida la gestión de inventarios basado en la metodología “Demand Driven Material Requirements Planning” reduce los costos de almacenamiento en la empresa Postes del Norte de la ciudad de Trujillo durante el periodo 2018-2019. El diseño de la investigación es pre-experimental de pre-prueba y post-prueba, en el cual se realiza la medición de los costos de almacenamiento antes de la implementación de la metodología, y después de la implementación. Respecto a las técnicas utilizadas en la presente investigación se detalla el análisis documental de los registros contables, así como costos. Además, los instrumentos utilizados en la presente investigación son las fichas de registro de datos. Por otro lado, para desarrollar la implementación de mejora se inició con el diagnóstico de la gestión de inventarios y el diagnóstico de los costos de almacenamiento. Posterior a ello, se implementó la metodología anteriormente mencionada. Respecto a los resultados obtenidos en la presente investigación, se pudo demostrar a través de la prueba t de Student que la implementación de la metodología DDMRP redujo los costos de almacenamiento. ABSTRACT The present investigation is carried out in a manufacturing and development company of Centrifuged Reinforced Concrete Posts. This research aims to determine to what extent the management of inventories based on the methodology "Planning of demand-driven materials requirements" reduces storage costs in the company Postes del Norte of the city of Trujillo during the 2018-2019 period. The research design is pre-experimental pre-test and post-test, in which the measurement of storage costs is performed before the implementation of the methodology, and after the implementation. Regarding the techniques used in the present investigation, the documentary analysis of the accounting records is detailed, as well as costs. In addition, the instruments used in the present investigation are the data record sheets. On the other hand, to develop the implementation of the improvement was made with the diagnosis of inventory management and the diagnosis of storage costs. Subsequently, the aforementioned methodology was implemented. Regarding the results obtained in the present investigation, it was possible to demonstrate through the Student's t-test that the implementation of the DDMRP methodology reduced storage costs.
