Condiciones básicas para el desarrollo del turismo vivencial en el caserío de Cotra, distrito de Salpo, provincia de Otuzco La Libertad 2020

Abstract

El turismo vivencial es una modalidad de turismo no convencional ó alternativo que se desarrolla con éxito principalmente en la zona sur del Perú, impulsado por turistas que prefieren vivir una experiencia real, interactuando directamente con la población andina, en sus raíces y hábitat diario. En la presente investigación se busca determinar si el Caserío de Cotra, situado en el Distrito de Salpo, provincia de Otuzco, Región la Libertad, reúne las condiciones básicas para el desarrollo del turismo vivencial. Para tal fin se utilizaron la técnica de la entrevista aplicada a las autoridades locales (2) y a referentes del sector turismo (2), con la finalidad de conocer sus opiniones y percepciones, determinándose que existe voluntad política y social para su desarrollo, sin embargo que se tiene que capacitar a la comunidad local receptora y asegurar la comodidad y seguridad del turista. Se aplicó un cuestionario a la población local seleccionada de 30 representantes de familias, de un total poblacional de 36 familias existentes, quienes manifestaron su interés, disposición y voluntad para desarrollar el turismo vivencial. Se demostró asimismo que Cotra cuenta con vías accesibles, servicios básicos, recursos naturales y culturales ,interés y voluntad de la comunidad para desarrollar el turismo vivencial; en consecuencia, el caserío de Cotra reúne las condiciones básicas para desarrollar el turismo vivencial, como actividad alternativa socioeconómica en beneficio de la comunidad.

Experiential travel is an non-conventional tourism modality that develops successfully mainly in the southern area of Peru, powered by tourists who prefer a real experience, interacting directly with the local people in their origins and daily habitat. In the present investigation the objective is to determine if the Contra’s hamlet, located in the district of Salpo, Otuzco's province, La Libertad region, has the basic conditions for development, practice and implementation of the Experiential travel.

For that purpose, a deep interview to the local authorities (2) and to tourism sector referrals (2) was made, in order to know their perceptions and opinions. It was determined that there is social and political will for its development, however the local tourist receiving community needs to get trained, so safety and comfort of the tourist are assured. A survey and a questionnaire were applied to the 30 representatives of the local community families, of a 36 total. They expressed their interest, disposition and will to develop the Experiential travel.

Also it was showed that Cotra counts with accesible routes, basic services, natural and cultural resources,will and interest of the community to develop Experiential travel social, in consequence in the Contra’s hamlet gatters all the basic conditions to develop the Experiential travel, as an socioeconomic and alternative activity for the benefit of the community.
