Clima social familiar y autoconcepto en estudiantes de nivel secundaria de un centro educativo privado del Callao

Abstract

La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo principal determinar la relación entre el clima social familiar y el autoconcepto en estudiantes de nivel secundaria de un Centro Educativo Privado del Callao. El cual corresponde a un diseño no experimental, cuantitativo, de corte transversal y descriptivo-correlacional. La muestra estuvo conformada por 278 estudiantes de ambos sexos, siendo el 39% del género masculino y el 61% del sexo femenino pertenecientes a los grados de 1°a 5° de nivel secundaria. Para evaluar la primera variable, se utilizó la escala del clima social familiar (FES) creada por R.H. Moos, y E.J. Trickett, y para evaluar la segunda variable, se utilizó el Autoconcepto Forma 5. Se emplearon estadísticos descriptivos para las frecuencias y porcentajes de ambas variables y correlaciones con rho de Spearman debido a que no cumplía con criterios de normalidad. Los resultados evidencian que existe una relación altamente significativa entre las dimensiones del clima social y autoconcepto. (r =,202** p=,001), (r =,296** p=,000) (r =,245** p=,000). Mediante la conclusión se obtuvo que, existe una relación positiva y significativa entre el clima social familiar y autoconcepto en los estudiantes del nivel secundaria en el centro educativo privado en el Callao.

The main objective of the present investigation was to determine the relationship between the family social climate and self-concept in high school students from a Private Educational Center in Callao. Which corresponds to a non-experimental, quantitative, cross-sectional and descriptive-correlational design. The sample was conformed by 278 students of both sexes, being 39% of the masculine gender and 61% of the feminine sex pertaining to the degrees of 1 ° to 5 ° of secondary level. To evaluate the first variable, the family social climate scale (FES) created by R.H. Moos, and E.J. Trickett, and to evaluate the second variable, the Self-concept Form 5 was used. Descriptive statistics were used for the frequencies and percentages of both variables and correlations with Spearman's rho because it did not meet criteria of normality. The results show that there is a highly significant relationship between the dimensions of the social climate and self-concept. (r =, 202 ** p =, 001), (r =, 296 ** p =, 000) (r =, 245 ** p =, 000). By means of the conclusion it was obtained that there is a positive and significant relationship between the family social climate and self-concept in high school students in the Private Educational Center in Callao.
