Implementación del sistema de gestión de seguridad y salud en el trabajo, bajo la norma ISO 45001:2018 para reducir el índice de frecuencia de accidentes en una empresa de transporte- Trujillo, 2020

Abstract

La presente tesis tiene como objetivo la implementación del sistema de seguridad y salud en el trabajo bajo la norma ISO 45001:2018 para reducir el índice de frecuencia de accidentes en una empresa de transportes. Para ello se realizó un diagnóstico situacional de la empresa determinando que tienen implementado el sistema de gestión y seguridad en el trabajo en base a ley 29783; se analizó los accidentes ocurridos en los años 2019 y 2020 obteniendo como resultado que la tendencia de accidentes de trabajo es a aumentar un 25% para el año 2021. Este análisis se realizó mediante una proyección por regresión lineal. Con la información obtenida se realizó un análisis de causa raíz identificando los principales motivos de accidentes en la empresa, evaluando los costos de dichos accidentes. Por otro lado, se revisó la norma ISO 45001:2018 para determinar los requisitos aplicables y posteriormente proceder con la implementación de la norma para reducir el índice de frecuencia de accidentes de trabajo y los costos generados; para ello se identificaron los peligros, evaluaron los riesgos y medidas de control por cada puesto de trabajo. Finalmente se realizó la evaluación económica obteniendo como resultado una tasa interna de retorno del 28% y un costo/ beneficio del 1.28.

This thesis aims at the implementation of the occupational health and safety system under the ISO 45001: 2018 standard to reduce the frequency rate of accidents in a transport company. To this end, a situational diagnosis of the company was carried out, determining that they have implemented the management and safety system at work based on Law 29783; the accidents that occurred in the years 2019 and 2020 were analyzed, obtaining as a result that the trend of work accidents is to increase by 25% by 2021. This analysis was performed using a linear regression projection. With the information obtained, a root cause analysis was carried out, identifying the main reasons for accidents in the company, evaluating the costs of such accidents. On the other hand, the ISO 45001:2018 standard was revised to determine the applicable requirements and subsequently proceed with the implementation of the standard to reduce the frequency rate of occupational accidents and the costs generated; to do this, the hazards were identified, the risks were evaluated and control measures for each workstation. Finally, the economic evaluation was carried out, obtaining as a result an internal rate of return of 28% and a cost/benefit of 1.28%.
