Evolución de los procesos logísticos en Latinoamérica: una revisión sistemática de la literatura científica en los últimos 10 años, 2008 – 2018

Abstract

Los procesos logísticos han tomado gran importancia en los últimos tiempos en las empresas ya que se está trabajando bajo la premisa “unificación de procesos” es decir como un macroproceso ya no en pequeñas partes. El presente estudio tiene como objetivo analizar la importancia de la logística en las empresas de Latinoamérica; la información recogida ha sido de la base de datos EBSCOhost, ProQuest, Scielo y Redalyc principales a nivel mundial, la cual se eligió los años 2008 al 2018 que contienen revistas con rigor científico. La investigación es de tipo descriptiva y cualitativa, han sido 50 artículos de inclusión seleccionadas, para esta búsqueda utilizamos los conectores OR “Proceso Logística” y AND “Función Logística”, se analizó la evolución e importancia de la logística en las empresas de Latinoamérica en los últimos diez años. Los resultados obtenidos indicaron que la mejora en los procesos logísticos genera una ventaja competitiva, la limitación importante para realizar esta investigación fue la falta tiempo, para concluir podemos decir que una adecuada gestión en dichos procesos logísticos genera una reducción en los costos, hoy en día en Latinoamérica estos están entre 18% y 35% del valor del producto que permitan ser rentables para la empresa.

The logistics processes have taken great importance in recent times in companies since it is working under the premise "process unification" that is to say as a macro process no longer in small parts. The objective of this study is to analyze the importance of logistics in companies in Latin America; the information collected has been from the EBSCOhost, ProQuest, Scielo and Redalyc main database worldwide, which was chosen from 2008 to 2018 and contains journals with scientific rigor. The research is descriptive and qualitative, there have been 50 articles of inclusion selected, for this search we use the connectors OR "Logistic Process" and AND "Logistic Function", we analyzed the evolution and importance of logistics in Latin American companies in the last ten years. The obtained results indicated that the improvement in the logistic processes generates a competitive advantage, the important limitation to realize this investigation was the lack of time, to conclude we can say that an adequate management in said logistic processes generate a reduction in the costs, nowadays in Latin America these are between 18% and 35% of the value of the product that can be profitable for the company.
