Propuesta de mejora en áreas de transportes y logística según herramientas del TPM y 5S para reducir sobrecostos en empresas distribuidoras de agua potable, Trujillo 2021

Abstract

Las empresas prestadoras de servicios de agua potable y alcantarillado sanitario centran la atención principal a los servicios brindados para llevar a cabo la misión como tal, sin embargo, se olvidan de los factores relacionados con las actividades de apoyo las cuales en su particularidad se trabajaron en esta investigación siendo las áreas de transportes y los procesos administrativos logísticos objeto de estudio, las cuales son de real importancia para el cumplimiento de metas institucionales, porque estas áreas de apoyo generan un sobrecosto significativo y por ello en el presente trabajo se buscó una reducción de los mismos al aplicar las herramientas de ingeniería industrial como son el Mantenimiento Productivo Total, 5S, Outsourcing, en la propuesta de mejora del área de transportes y logística.

The companies that provide drinking water and sanitary sewerage services focus their main attention on the services provided to carry out the mission as such, however, they forget the factors related to support activities which in their particularity were worked in this research being the areas of transportation and logistics administrative processes object of study, which are of real importance for the fulfillment of institutional goals, because these support areas generate a significant cost overrun and therefore in this work we sought to reduce them by applying industrial engineering tools such as Total Productive Maintenance, 5S, Outsourcing, in the proposal to improve the area of transportation and logistics.
