Síndrome de burnout y satisfacción marital en trabajadores de una municipalidad de la provincia de Trujillo

Abstract

RESUMEN El objetivo general del presente estudio fue determinar la relación entre el Síndrome de Burnout y la Satisfacción Marital en los trabajadores de una municipalidad de la provincia de Trujillo. La investigación se caracteriza como, descriptiva correlacional, no experimental. Se consideró a 100 trabajadores del área obrera de la municipalidad, los cuales cumplieron con los criterios de inclusión y exclusión. Se aplicaron dos tipos de instrumentos: Maslach Burnout Inventory-General Survey (Maslach, Jackson y Leiter, 1996) y la Escala de Satisfacción Marital (Pick y Andrade, 1988). Ambos instrumentos fueron adaptados en una población con características similares, los resultados revelan la adecuada confiabilidad de los instrumentos (0.774 y 0.907 respectivamente). Se encontró la relación parcial entre sus variables siendo altamente significativas entre el Síndrome de Burnout y la Satisfacción Marital (p=0.035 y χ²=4.458). ABSTRACT The overall objective of this study is to determine the relationship between burnout syndrome and Marital Satisfaction among employees of a municipality in the province of Trujillo. The research is portrayed as descriptive correlational, no experimental. There were considered 100 workers from the laborer area of the municipality, who fulfilled the criteria of inclusion and exclusion. Two kinds of instruments were applied:Maslach Burnout Inventory-General Survey (Maslach, Jackson & Leiter, 1996) and Marital Satisfaction Scale (Pick and Andrade, 1988).The results reveal adequate reliability in the instruments (0.774 and 0.907 respectively). The relationship between its variables were found, being highly significant between the burnout syndrome and Marital Satisfaction (p=0.035 y χ²=4.458).
