Saneamiento en zonas rurales: una revisión de la literatura científica en los últimos 10 años

Abstract

El presente artículo describe los diferentes problemas de saneamiento que ocurren en las poblaciones rurales de distintas partes del mundo. El objetivo de este trabajo fue realizar la búsqueda respectiva de información acerca de saneamiento en distintas zonas rurales. Se empleó distintas fuentes de información como: Scielo, Redalyc y Google Académico; posteriormente se analizaron 35 artículos dentro del periodo del 2010 al 2019, quedándose con 20 de aquellos debido a su relevancia y aporte que ofrecen, además se codificaron los datos extraídos alrededor de doce indicadores: revista de publicación, título, autor, año, tipo de documento, país, variable, objetivo, método, resultados, instrumentos de medición y conclusiones. Los resultados muestran las condiciones de vida de las zonas rurales debido a problemas de saneamiento, se manifestó distintas limitaciones debido a la cantidad de artículos científicos de muy buena metodología experimental, que se dejaban de lado por no estar dentro del rango del 2009 a 2019. Finalmente se concluye realizando la tabla de Matriz de selección de estudios de los artículos y tesis y la elaboración de la Figura de análisis global por categorías de los estudios la cual se eligieron 3 categorías: Saneamiento Básico, Sistema de agua potable y zona rural.

This article describes the different sanitation problems that occur in rural populations in different parts of the world. The objective of this work was to perform the respective search for information about sanitation in different rural areas. Different sources of information were used such as: Scielo, Redalyc and Google Scholar; subsequently, 35 articles were analyzed within the period from 2010 to 2019, keeping 20 of those due to their relevance and contribution they offer, in addition the data extracted around twelve indicators were coded: publication magazine, title, author, year, type of document, country, variable, objective, method, results, measurement instruments and conclusions. The results show the living conditions of rural areas due to sanitation problems, different limitations were expressed due to the amount of scientific articles of very good experimental methodology, which were left aside because they were not within the range of 2009 to 2019. Finally, it is concluded by carrying out the Matrix table for the selection of studies of the articles and thesis and the elaboration of the Global Analysis Figure by categories of the studies which were chosen 3 categories: Basic Sanitation, Drinking Water System and rural area.
