Impacto de la implementación de la norma ISO 9001:2015 en la productividad del área de operaciones en la empresa DP World Logistics

Abstract

El presente estudio tuvo por objetivo Determinar el impacto de la implementación de la norma ISO 9001:2015 en la productividad del área de operaciones en la empresa DP WORLD LOGISTICS; el estudio en cuanto al método de estudio fue cuantitativo de diseño experimental de tipo preexperimental, en la que la conclusión más importante fue que, la empresa DPWL maneja un Target de 80% de cumplimiento de actividades respecto a los procedimientos; el cuál debería incrementarse, ya que el tener una correcta gestión de calidad demandaría un mayor índice de cumplimiento, además, la productividad respecto al número de cantidades desarrolladas en el Patio de Operaciones evidencia un incremento posterior a la implementación de la norma ISO 9001:2015, finalmente, se evidencia que el VANe es igual a $ 135,074.52, el cual es mayor a 0, lo que indica que es conveniente invertir en la empresa. Mientras que el beneficio costo (B/C) indica que por cada dólar invertido se obtiene un beneficio de $ 1.12430973. Finalmente, la tasa interna de retorno (TIRe) permite comparar el valor actual de los gastos con los ingresos que se han proyecto, en el caso del estudio la TIRe es 36%.

The objective of this study was to determine the impact of the implementation of the ISO 9001: 2015 standard on the productivity of the operations area in the company DP WORLD LOGISTICS; The study regarding the study method was quantitative of experimental design of a pre-experimental type, in which the most important conclusion was that the company DPWL manages a Target of 80% compliance with activities regarding procedures; which should be increased, since having a correct quality management would demand a higher compliance index, in addition, the productivity regarding the number of quantities developed in the Operations Yard shows an increase after the implementation of the ISO 9001: 2015 standard; finally, it is evident that the NPV is equal to $135,074.52, which is greater than 0, which indicates that it is convenient to invest in the company. While the cost benefit (B/C) indicates that for every dollar invested, a benefit of $1.12430973 is obtained. Finally, the internal rate of return (IRR) makes it possible to compare the current value of the expenses with the income that has been projected, in the case of the study the IRR is 36%.
