Procesos educativos en el uso del servicio de agua potable de la localidad de Ichocán – San Marcos, 2015

Abstract

RESUMEN La presente investigación está orientada a describir como los procesos educativos influyen en el uso del servicio de agua potable. En el Perú existe una problemática constante sobre el uso del agua potable así como deficiencias en los sistemas de agua potable por gravedad, sobre todo los construidos en el ámbito rural. Los componentes a evaluar son educación y cultura, hábitos sanitarios, gestión del servicio, operación y mantenimiento e infraestructura. Por medio del recojo de información se podrá determinar el estado en que se encuentran los componentes de un proyecto integral, así cómo responden los usuarios de la localidad en estudio y así poder determinar cómo influyen los procesos educativos en el uso del sistema de agua potable. Los resultados permiten afirmar que el servicio de agua potable en relación al componente educación y cultura presenta un nivel regular en educación sanitaria (70.13 puntos), en hábitos sanitarios en regular estado de saneamiento (65.53 puntos), la infraestructura del sistema se encuentra calificada como buena (55 puntos). En operación y mantenimiento el servicio que se brinda es de calidad (31 puntos) y finalmente en gestión de los servicio se garantiza la calidad del agua (122 puntos). El problema de agua a nivel mundial es un tema de interés, es así que esta investigación busca dar recomendaciones y propuestas de mejora para lograr el uso adecuado del agua potable mediante procesos continuos en educación sanitaria y hábitos sanitarios. También con técnicas adecuadas de operación y mantenimiento que permitan que el sistema de agua potable se encuentre en un estado óptimo y cumpla con su periodo de vida útil. ABSTRACT This research is oriented to describe how the educational processes influence the use of potable water service. In Peru there is a problematic constant on the use of drinking water as well as deficiencies in the drinking water systems by gravity, especially those constructed in the rural areas. The components to evaluate are education and culture, health habits, service management, operation and maintenance and infrastructure. By means of the pick up of information one can determine the state in which they are the components of a comprehensive project, as well as respond users of the locality in study, so you can determine how they affect educational processes in the use of the potable water system. The results suggest that potable water service in relation to the educational component and culture presents a regular level in health education (no 70.13 points), in health habits in regular state of sanitation (65.53 points), the infrastructure of the system is described as good (55 points). In operation, and maintenance service that provides quality (31 points) and finally in management of the service guarantees the quality of the water (122 points). The problem of water at the global level is a topic of interest, so that this research seeks to give recommendations and proposals for improvement to achieve the proper use of the safe drinking water through continuous processes in health education and health habits. Also with appropriate techniques of operation and maintenance, enabling that the potable water system is in an optimal state and comply with its period of life.
